Seahouses received a free tree pack. Active kids teamed up with the Woodland Trust to give the children a chance to grow a selection of deciduous trees. 30 trees were planted by Year 5 children.
The first crop we could taste this season was the rhubarb crop. Even though it had a sharp taste it was so good because we grew it ourselves. The sugar helped to sweeten it up.
