We now have two big screens in school after agreeing to take part in a pilot scheme, partially funded by the Local Education Authority, to host the Life Channel in our school.
It is a new bespoke interactive channel designed to provide us with an efficient tool to communicate with our pupils and provide them with useful information on health, the community and other issues they may face in everyday life.
We hope it will be a valuable resource in helping to improve the health and well being of our pupils.
As well as using the Life Channel to show pre-prepared films we can also use it to show videos and photographs of pupils doing a variety of activities in school or during extra curricular activities. This has already proved to be very popular with the pupils and lets them see some of the excellent work their peers have been doing in a variety of curriculum areas.
