Seahouses Middle School Website

Seahouses Middle School is in the fishing village of Seahouses on the north Northumberland coast.
It is surrounded by history, having castles at nearby Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, Ford, Dunstanburgh, Alnwick, Warkworth and wonderful natural resources on our doorstep including miles of unspoilt beaches, sand dunes and farm land.

The school was purpose built to accommodate the Secondary Modern School in 1961, and in 1983 changed to join the three tier system in becoming the middle school.

School reopens - Monday 11 January
Following the problems of last week we are relieved to say that the school is open once more again.

We'd like to take this opportunity to apologise to all parents for any inconvenience throughout the past week due to the poor weather. As I'm sure you are aware, closing the school is something we very, very rarely do.
